You don’t get much bigger than JYJ. In Asia, the gorgeous trio sells out concerts in seconds, and when they made their American debut this November, more than 20,000 fans rushed ticket vendors, eager just to catch a glimpse. Three of South Korea’s biggest idols, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu, make up JYJ ? a band revered for their talent as well as their looks (they’re all regulars on Best-Looking lists in Asia). So of course, when JYJ announced they were coming to New York, MTV K was ready and waiting!

MTV K Live Exclusive JYJ Interview: Twitter, Food, and Fan Love





Just before they hit the stage for an intimate, live performance to a tiny group of lucky fans, JYJ talked to MTV K. Want to know their favorite New York food? Watch and find out! (All we can say is that we saw them eat TONS of it! How they stay so slim is still a mystery.) This is the first of two exclusive interviews with JYJ ? stay tuned for part 2!


mtv K asked Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu to take a break from dancing and invited the trio to showcase their singing abilities at a secret mtv K Live taping. Backed by a live band, in front of a tiny audience of very lucky fans, JYJ performed two acoustic tracks off their debut album The Beginning. No auto-tune, no pyrotechnics ? just the three boys and their real, incredible voices. Thousands of JYJ fans from across the world applied to be in the audience, and only 50 people were selected to see JYJ up-close, at almost touching distance, at the intimate New York City club Rebel NYC.
